With over 30 years experience in media planning and strategy, Tony remains sane through off road motorcycling, flying radio controlled helicopters and aeroplanes and spending time with his wife and two children.
Apart from being the Group Managing Director of The MediaShop, Chris is also an extremely proud father, husband and devoted Free State Cheetahs supporter. Having started his media career at Publicis before joining The MediaShop Chris found his love for media on brands like Nando’s, MINI, Virgin Mobile, ABSA, Shoprite Checkers and the JD Group.
Craig is blessed with a beautiful wife and two beautiful and intelligent daughters, who by his own admission have their mother’s genes. For the past six and a half years, Craig has been the go-to guy for all things Out of Home at The MediaShop, a platform he is very passionate about. Craig’s favourite quotation is: “Whenever I feel the urge to exercise, I lie down until the feeling passes…” which is why Laiza runs faster than you.
Apart from being an Associate Media Director for The MediaShop, Laiza can run faster than you! This avid sportswoman is an incredibly instinctive market savvy professional with over 16 years’ professional experience. She has a history of developing successful marketing strategies which have resulted in increased brand equity and accelerated business growth. She holds a MBA and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing and has completed the Global Executive Development Programme (GEDP) at the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
Zambian born Sean Clarke actually qualified as an accountant before the mad advertising bug bit. Fortunately, when a former boss in the engineering industry went to work at Ogilvy, Sean followed in his footsteps and as they say, the rest is history!  Sean says he’s incredibly proud to have joined Dick Reed and John Barham in the 90’s and to have been part of The MediaShop’s fantastic growth strategy to date.
Volleyball, golf, her husband Dylan and media are a few of Isla’s favourite things. She is passionate about the media industry and driving its growth. Never content with sitting still, she believes life and work are boring without a challenge. Her mathematically orientated mind analyses every challenge until the best solution is found.

Fiona has been with The MediaShop family for just short on four years, and in the media industry for 22 years. She started her career in 1993 working on Unilever, gaining experience through the ranks from Buying to Implementation Planning and Strategy. Fiona has headed up a number of prestigious portfolios over the years and served as Unit Head on Unilever, Cadbury, Colgate, Chrysler, Coca-Cola, Tsogo Sun and Cell C.

Ncamisile Sigwebela joined The MediaShop in July 2010 as the Group Financial Manager. ‘Ncami’ as she is affectionately known, is responsible for the entire finance department and is a member of The MediaShop exco. Ncami has always had a passion for numbers. Her journey began in Swaziland where she studied Accounting (AAT) at the Swaziland College of Technology and Swaziland Institute of Management & Public Administration.
Sandra ‘I don’t do boring’ Burger loves adventure and learning new things. She was also one of the first interns that undertook the then AAPA (now AAA) course. Having worked in the industry since 1982 as a media planner, client and strategist, Sandra has a well rounded knowledge of the intricacies of the media industry.

Jedd calls himself a BUM and gets away with it. That’s because the technical term Business Unit Manager is not nearly as much fun. Jedd heads up the Famous Brands account at TMS and for the past seven years, has been on the company’s management team. He’s passionate about the media industry and everything in it, especially since no two days are the same.

Sean’s 1000 litre tropical aquarium is testament to his passion for fishkeeping and is his pride and joy. His 22 years in the media industry is testament to his love for advertising. Now in his 15th year at The MediaShop, he has gained a wealth of knowledge having worked across a broad spectrum of clients. Large and small – Sean has seen it all! A wide variety of clients has kept his journey alive ensuring that every day is different with a new set of challenges.
Richard is happily married with two little boys who keep him on his toes. He is an avid cyclist and a 3 times Sani2C finisher; an unashamed techno geek and Apple fanboy. In his spare time Richard is the Head of Digital at The MediaShop. Richard has 20 years of media experience behind him, 18 of those spent at The MediaShop. In 2001, he gained valuable media experience in the UK environment handling some major pan-European accounts including the likes of Coca-Cola, Motorola and Nestle, and then as a media consultant with the Radio Advertising Bureau, assisting media agencies with their radio planning. On his return to SA and The MediaShop, he was promoted to Associate Media Director in 2006 where he headed the ABSA / Barclays South Africa business unit until 2013.

Alarece joined the TMS team in 2009 as the HR Manager for the Group. In 2012 she created Eaton Consulting Services, which focuses on HR and BBBEE consulting, and as the head of our Human Resources department, Alarece is our most favourite people person. She very capably runs the HR department and takes care of all BBBEE requirements. She also assists on an executive level in the company with a special focus on business strategy.
Bonita MD of our Cape Town operation is described as a woman of strength, a fierce friend, motivator and a person who steadfastly walks in truth. She believes in turning adversity into victory, her 25 years of experience in the industry has armed her with astute business management, negotiating and leadership skills.

Apart from his love of media, Kgaugelo is passionate about many things, but thoroughly enjoys travelling around South Africa and the world with his family, and watching a variety of sports. He wouldn’t say no to a good documentary so if you know of one, share it with him! Kgaugelo is also an ardent believer in the importance of understanding our diverse South African consumers - he spends time learning about different behaviours, what influences different groups of people and how to effectively communicate with them in their own environments.
As Executive Chairman of The MediaShop, Ben has a wealth of knowledge behind him in the advertising, legal, tourism and financial fields and is also a force to be reckoned with on the golf course. Ben obtained a BA LLB from the University of Natal in ‘89 and has since then continued to participate in leadership and business improvement programmes both in South Africa and abroad. Some of these include completing a Senior Executive Programme at the Harvard Business School and participating in the United States South Africa Leadership Development Exchange Programme in Pennsylvania.
